Get yer vote on!

With all the serious political debate and discussion thats been going on over the last few weeks/months/years, and the impending election (God that makes it sound as ominous as it really is!) I decided: sure, there's no point in analysing things or trying to persuade people to vote for someone like the Greens because if they do win they'll be so afraid to do anything that we can all dictate to them etc... NO! I decided to try and persuade people to vote for parties/people inversely based on how funny or stupid they look. Just like that Euro news section : No Comment.

So here we go, just try to imagine that the following is your proportional representation voting card on the day!


Fianna Fáil:

Tis Bertie and Lech, the Ahernski twins! A vote for them is a vote for Irish industry staying in Warsaw and Polish people...er continuing to come here in their droves. That Cheshire cat smile is genetic you know, just like the ability to roll your tongue.

The P.D.s:

It's the Mary and Micko show! Controlling our tides and minds since 1985 and 2002 respectively. Don't throw it all away, don't give it to them!

Fine Gael:

Lets face it, this is as exciting/appealing as they get ok?

Labour:

Look at these faces. Look at them with their worry riden eyes and awkward smiles-these people still think that cameras steal people's souls! Also if you look from left to right, it's rather like a some sort of evolutionary timeline isn't it?!

Greens:

This is basically them; nice but very impractical given the nature of our country.

Independants:

No!
